Badge Training FAQs
Augusta Tech uses 黑板上 Learn for all online classes. To ensure that everyone is comfortable with accessing and using 黑板上, Badge Training is a tutorial and assessment students are required to take before registering for an online class.

Everyone who wants to take an online and blended course at Augusta Technical College.
A Badge is a virtual certificate of completion that a student earns by completing Badge Training. Badge Training is a series of online lessons which a student must complete to be eligible to enroll in online classes at Augusta Tech.
After you log into 黑板上 with your student email and password, click on Badge under Organizations and self-enroll. If this is your first time signing in, you may need to set up your Okta account.The training course is free of charge. 看这个 video demonstration of how to enroll in Badge Training.

No, you must register before you can take Badge Training. You also must complete Badge Training by the end of the first week of the semester.

是的. Badge Training can be re-taken as many times as needed. Each test can be re-taken as many times as necessary within a two week period. 学生 who do not complete the Badge within 2 weeks will need to begin at the first unit again. 学生 who do not log in to the site will need to re-register for the training.
You will receive an email congratulating you on finishing Badge Training within two business days. 学生 can submit that email to their instructors as proof of completion.
No. Badge Training completion is noted in a student’s record, but it is not a credit course and does not appear on the student’s transcript.
